The close happens on a date, not eventually.
You'll know when your reports land each month, and they'll land then.
About
I've spent more than twenty years in the books of small and mid-sized businesses, and the last several running my own firm. I work with a deliberately small number of clients at a time, which is why the ones I have can text me a question and get an answer.
Most of my clients come to me in one of two states. Either the books are behind and the deadline is close, or the books are technically done but tell them nothing useful. Both are fixable. The first takes a cleanup; the second usually takes rebuilding how the file is structured so the reports match how the business actually runs.
What I care about is that you can open a report and make a decision from it — take the job, raise the price, make the hire — without wondering whether the numbers are real. That's the whole point of paying for bookkeeping.
I'm certified at QuickBooks Online Level 2 and in QuickBooks Online Payroll, and I work entirely virtually, with clients anywhere in the U.S.
How I work
You'll know when your reports land each month, and they'll land then.
If you'd be better served by a different bookkeeper, or by software and an afternoon of training, I'll say so on the first call.
No hourly meter running while you ask a question. You'll know the monthly number in writing.
I'll explain what a report says and what I'd do about it. If it needs a footnote, I'll write the footnote.
